Comcast Xfinity Shield uses Wi-Fi for home motion detection

Comcast launched Xfinity Shield, a home security platform combining home, family, and cybersecurity protection in one app. Wi-Fi Shield, free for Xfinity Internet users, includes Wi-Fi Motion, which detects movement via radio frequency changes without video. Shield Select adds cameras and sensors for $15 monthly.
