Andrew Dai left Google DeepMind to cofound Elorian AI with former Apple researcher Yinfei Yang. The startup builds visual reasoning models that think in images and 3D maps instead of words. Elorian exited stealth in April and aims to solve spatial and physical-world problems that language models cannot handle.
