Apple quietly ended support for Intel Macs and MacBooks with macOS 27 Golden Gate, announced at WWDC 2026. Only devices with Apple silicon chips (M1 or newer) can run the update, releasing this fall. No Mac Pro or iMac Pro models are supported.
