Open Device Partnership and Microsoft released the Call Graph Analyzer to extract callgraphs from monomorphized MIR for tracking panics in Rust code. The tool runs via cargo cga check and identifies functions that can panic, such as strictsub operations, offering a better alternative to existing ELF or HIR-based detection methods for embedded devices and critical code paths.
