BNY and Ripple Expand XRP Ledger Custody

BNY and Ripple expanded custody support to XRP and RLUSD on Tuesday, adding the dollar-backed stablecoin to their institutional platform. They also partnered with C2FO to test tokenized trade finance for supply chain receivables. RLUSD market cap reached about $2.5 billion since launching in December 2024, with over 4.6 billion transactions processed on the XRP Ledger.
