Polestar exits US market, owners stranded

Polestar is pulling out of the US starting with the 2027 model year after the federal government denied authorization due to a rule banning Chinese-made connected vehicle software. Thousands of owners and dozens of dealers face uncertainty about service, warranties, and resale value. Polestar says existing warranties and service commitments will be honored.
