A government-linked body, StaCU, monitored online criticism of the Prevent counter-extremism program. Rights & Security International revealed that between March 2024 and February 2025, StaCU logged 77 observations from social media and articles, including those from X and Reddit, after an appeal forced the Home Office to release documents.
