Samsung Foundry raised chip manufacturing prices by up to 15% for new customers, covering 4nm, 5nm, and select 8nm automotive nodes. The AI boom drove demand beyond capacity. TSMC also increased prices 5-10% on 3nm, 5nm, and 7nm nodes. Samsung recently returned to monthly profitability for the first time in three years.
