Apple fixed a Hide My Email vulnerability a year after discovery, but hidden emails created before July 7, 2026 may remain exposed in third-party logs. Developer Jeff Johnson disclosed a separate Mac Mail flaw on July 19 where a forged header can expose a user's Apple Account address even without using Hide My Email.
