Google combines its Spark personal agent with the main Gemini chat experience via a server-side update on Android. Announced at I/O 2026 in May, the redesign adds buttons for Chat and Task. The change requires an AI Pro or AI Ultra subscription and removes the separate Spark branding from the navigation drawer.
