GitHub's Innovation Graph shows outbound open source collaboration grew 16% quarter-over-quarter from Q4 2025 to Q1 2026, the second highest growth rate since 2020. Syria saw notable growth starting Q4 2025 after sanctions relaxation. GitHub provided the Student Developer Pack to over 8,000 verified Syrian students in the last six months.
