AstrOS entered public beta as an immutable, secure-by-default Arch-based Linux distribution with the COSMIC desktop. It uses hashed and signed /usr images and signed uki images for system integrity. The distro requires TPM 2.0 for full-disk encryption and supports installable extensions, including a Steam gaming option.
