AWS Launches Open Source AI Agent Tools

AWS introduced Strands Decider 2B, a two-billion-parameter model, and Strands Box, a sandbox for AI agents. The model achieved 72.3% accuracy on 231 tasks with 115ms latency on an NVIDIA RTX 3090. Strands Box offers kernel-enforced isolation for executing shell commands and Python code safely.
