FedRAMP VDR Rules Mandatory December 2026

FedRAMP's Vulnerability Detection and Response rules become mandatory for all cloud service offerings on December 7, 2026, with a grace period to March 7, 2027 for corrective action plans. Detection frequency now scales by certification class, from every 14 days at Class A to daily at Class D, and remediation deadlines range from 192 days to 12 hours.
