China orders early Windows 10 removal from government machines

China's Ministry of State Security ordered state-linked entities to uninstall Windows 10 ahead of schedule. C&M Information Technologies, a Microsoft and China Electronics Technology Group joint venture, had planned to retire the customized OS in February 2027. Microsoft said it is unaware of any security incident.
