Denmark Abandons Microsoft Office Replacement

Denmark's Ministry of Digitization abandoned a pilot to replace Microsoft Office with the open-source Collabora suite less than six months after it began in 2025. The project involved 38 employees who faced formatting and tracking challenges before the experiment ended by February 2026. Prof. Mikkel Flyberbom notes the ministry failed to properly evaluate the pilot.
