ICCT: EV Operating Costs One-Third Lower in Europe

The International Council On Clean Transportation reported that operating an electric car in Europe in 2025 cost one-third less than a gasoline or diesel car. Public charging still left EVs 28 percent cheaper. Battery costs fell 35 percent globally between 2020 and 2025.
