Google Cloud announced Cloud Run sandboxes in public preview at WeAreDevelopers World Congress. The feature provides a native, secure runtime for executing untrusted AI-generated code and agent workloads, starting in milliseconds. Sandboxes enforce zero-trust security with credential isolation, deny-by-default network egress, and a read-only filesystem overlay. There is no additional cost.
