Between September 9 and October 7, 2026, an unauthorized party accessed PingCAP cloud resources using stolen credentials to copy data and obtain source code. PingCAP disabled affected credentials by October 14, 2026, while continuing to investigate potential customer-specific impacts and exploitation.
