BBC and Channel 4 in streaming merger talks again

The BBC and Channel 4 have held early talks about merging streaming services to create a British alternative to Netflix. BBC boss Matt Brittin confirmed the discussion. Previous attempts in 2007 (Project Kangaroo) and 2017 (BritBox) were abandoned. Talks face commercial, audience, and technical hurdles.
