Seattle Approves 200 Curbside EV Chargers

Seattle voters approved a $1.55B transport levy in 2024 to fund up to 200 curbside Level 2 EV chargers by 2030. Residents can suggest sites until autumn 2027, with installation starting in January 2027. The program prioritizes apartment buildings and high-pollution areas, building on a pilot of 58 chargers used 45,000 times last year.
