Dixon Technologies India Ltd enters a joint venture with Gemtek Technology Co to manufacture optical transceivers in India. The new entity, Dixon Electroconnect, will see Dixon hold a 60 per cent stake while Gemtek owns 40 per cent. The deal aims to address surging demand driven by artificial intelligence and cloud computing, with completion expected by February.
