Tesla loses Cybercab lead to Rivian R2

Tesla Senior Manager Jody Kerns leaves to join Rivian as Director of General Assembly for the R2. This follows the departure of Michael So in May to Aalo Atomics. Tesla faces an NHTSA Special Order regarding safety standards for its 1,000 vehicle fleet while Rivian produced 19,751 R2 vehicles in Q3.
