NYC Selects Startup for 700-Charger EV Network

New York City has selected Brooklyn-based manufacturer it's electric to build a permanent curbside EV charging network across all five boroughs. The three-year project will expand the city from 88 to roughly 700 charging points, targeting neighborhoods with dense rideshare populations and limited off-street parking. The New York Power Authority will procure the equipment, while the city's transport department will operate and maintain the network.
