TCS Revenue Beats View as AI Demand Grows

Tata Consultancy Services reported second-quarter revenue of 731.88 billion rupees ($7.7 billion), slightly beating analyst expectations of 731.48 billion rupees. Consolidated revenue rose 11.2% year-on-year, while quarterly net profit increased 15% to 138.84 billion rupees. TCS annualized AI revenue reached $3.1 billion, up from $2.6 billion previously, driven by banking vertical growth of 3.9%.
