Tesla Launches Steering-Wheel-Free Cybercab Robotaxi In Austin

Tesla began offering public rides in Austin in its purpose-built Cybercab, a two-seat robotaxi with no steering wheel or pedals. Texas records show 45 Cybercabs registered as of Thursday. Tesla also plans to sell the vehicles to consumers for under $30,000.
