Amazon Web Services launches TorchNeuron, an open-source backend letting PyTorch code run on AWS Trainium chips with one line change. It enters public beta on 20 October under Apache 2.0 licence, supporting Trainium2 and Trainium3. Early users include voice AI startups Cartesia and Deepgram, plus Lieber Institute for Brain Development. About 22,000 PyTorch tests are skipped in first release.
