Volvo Ghent Plant May Build Chinese Brands

Volvo signed a memorandum of understanding with Belgian and Flemish governments for up to €119 million ($136.4 million) to support its Ghent plant. The automaker hinted the facility could add contract assembly for other brands, likely Chinese sister companies under owner Geely, including Polestar, Zeekr, and Lynk & Co.
