VLC lead builds Kyber for robot control

Jean-Baptiste Kempf, lead developer of VLC Media Player, built Kyber, an infrastructure layer for real-time remote device control. The Paris-based startup raised a $5 million round led by Lightspeed. Kyber's SDK synchronizes video, audio, sensor data, and control inputs with minimal latency for robots and drones.
