TSMC expands fabs at record pace for N2 ramp

TSMC has spent nearly $240 billion on capacity expansion over the last decade, now operating nine sites with dozens of 300-mm fabs. The company doubled its historical construction pace to nine fab phases annually in 2025, 2026, simultaneously ramping N2 production at Fab 20 in Hsinchu and Fab 22 in Kaohsiung to meet explosive AI processor demand.
