Zimbra Flaw Exploited to Steal Emails

Attackers are exploiting CVE-2026-73570, a critical Zimbra Collaboration Suite flaw that allows unauthenticated remote OS command execution, to steal email backups and authentication credentials, Microsoft warned. Maintainer Synacor patched the bug on July 20 but kept it secret for over three weeks. Shadowserver scans found 274 vulnerable instances still exposed.
