OpenAI Solves Navier-Stokes Problem, Sparking Credit Dispute

OpenAI used tens of thousands of agents to solve the Navier-Stokes existence and smoothness problem, a Millennium Prize Problem with a $1 million reward. The announcement was overshadowed by a credit dispute with mathematician Tristan Buckmaster, who claims OpenAI used his work and offered to remove his collaborator Levent Alpöge from credit.
