DGCA Bans Specific Power Bank on Flights

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation banned the MOBIKINS MK-PB-04 power bank on flights to, from or within India following a fire incident. This prohibition applies to all baggage types and cargo. The ban was issued in a communication dated September 29, citing safety risks after a passenger's device caught fire on an IndiGo plane on October 11.
