CATL and Octopus Energy formed Swaptopus to build a European battery swap network for commercial trucks. At IAA Transportation, CATL revealed TECTRANS II, a modular truck battery with 170 Wh/kg energy density, 1,000 km range and 80% charge in 25 minutes.
