X open sources ranking algorithm, adds shadowban checker

X released its "For You" ranking algorithm source code on GitHub under Apache v2, expanding its codebase 10 to 15 times. A new transparency tool lets users download aggregate stats as JSON to check if labels were applied to their account or posts.
