ICANN published 1,615 applications for the 2026 New gTLD Round on 7 October 2026, with 864 from North America and 506 from Europe. The submission window closed on 12 August 2026, and the Replacement Period begins on 8 October 2026. Applicants may withdraw applications by 27 November 2026 to receive a 65 percent refund of the evaluation fee.
