A BIOS update reset DOCP on an ASUS ROG Strix X570-E, dropping RAM from 3600MT/s to 2133MT/s for two years. The Ryzen 5800X3D's large cache masked the loss until a 360Hz OLED monitor revealed frame time issues. Re-enabling DOCP restored performance.
