Starlink reapplied to IN-SPACe for its Gen 2 constellation of nearly 30,000 low Earth orbit satellites with direct-to-device connectivity. The earlier Gen 2 application was rejected over spectrum and feature nonconformity. Approval would expand Starlink's Indian satellite broadband offering to include D2D services.
