Female-founded startups raised $73.6B in 2025

PitchBook reports female-founded US startups raised a record $73.6 billion in 2025, nearly double the previous year total. Anthropic and Scale AI alone accounted for over $30 billion of that figure, representing more than forty percent of all funding. Deal counts fell four straight years starting after a 2021 peak while individual rounds continued landing through early 2026.
