Researchers led by Isao Shitanda at Tokyo University of Science developed a wristwatch-type sensor that stabilizes quickly for real-time monitoring of sodium and potassium in sweat. Tested on a construction site, the device acquired signals for approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes while a worker performed usual tasks including breaks and meals.
