Elon Musk renews Starlink bid for India

Elon Musk renewed a public appeal on Friday for Starlink to compete in India, where the service awaits security clearance despite having a permit. The Ministry of Communications dismissed bias claims, noting licences exist for three operators. Starlink, which signed agreements with Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio in March 2025, got its licence in June 2025.
