CVC Capital Partners acquired a minority stake in Prague-based CDN77, valuing the bootstrapped internet infrastructure provider at about $1.9 billion. Founder Zdenek Cendra retains majority control and stays CEO. The deal, the largest CEE tech private equity transaction this year, funds expansion into edge computing and AI infrastructure. CDN77 targets $270 million revenue in 2026, up from $218 million in 2025.
