Amplicity raises US$1M for data centre batteries

Singapore-headquartered energy startup Amplicity closed a US$1.01 million seed round backed by Loyal VC to monetize idle UPS batteries in data centres. The firm estimates 160 MWh of capacity exists in Singapore alone and plans to enter Japan in 2027.
