Hyundai Ioniq 5 Sales Rise After EV Credit Ends

Hyundai sold 20,730 Ioniq 5 units through the first half of 2026 in the United States despite ending the federal tax credit. The Korean automaker posted record June sales with 450,568 total vehicles moved across six months compared to last year. Electrified models now comprise 33 percent of new Hyundai local sales while discontinued Ioniq 6 numbers dropped significantly.
