Met Police to cut 700 frontline jobs after Palantir deal blocked

Commissioner Mark Rowley plans to cut 700 frontline posts after London's deputy mayor blocked a £50 million Palantir contract. The Unified Operational Analytics deal would have automated 500 backroom roles and 200 serious crime posts.
