Xbox layoffs hit id Software hard

Xbox is cutting 3200 jobs by 2027. id Software lost around 95 staff, roughly half its 185-person team, as Doom: The Dark Ages DLC launches. Ex-Bethesda project lead Jeff Gardiner reported the number. Apogee founder Scott Miller said most coders were cut. No studios are closing.
