Zelensky Appoints Ex-Police Chief to Lead Cyber Center

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed former law enforcement official Ihor Klymenko to lead the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCCC). The NCCC, operating under the National Security and Defense Council, coordinates government responses to major cyberthreats, including Russian operations. Klymenko previously headed the National Police and served as interior minister.
