MCP server usability grading reveals widespread failures

A developer graded 36 popular MCP servers on agent usability using a new tool called mcpgrade. 11 of 36 servers received a D or F, including official servers from MongoDB, Notion, Airtable, and GitHub. The most common failure was missing parameter descriptions, with firecrawl-mcp having 132 of 134 errors from undocumented parameters.
