Why Costco won't cut gas prices as quickly as rivals

Costco intentionally keeps gas prices from falling as quickly as rivals like Kroger and Walmart. The national average dropped from $4.56 to $4.12 since May 21 as crude oil stayed below $100 per barrel. Costco members may not see the same pace of relief at the pump.
