Modder gebdag released GTA2 RTX Remix, an open-source mod that adds full path tracing, dynamic day-night cycles and 60 FPS frame generation to the 1999 classic Grand Theft Auto 2. A custom Direct3D 9 renderer bridges the game's legacy DirectDraw pipeline to Nvidia's RTX Remix, also enabling widescreen 16:9 and fixing pop-in.
